What we can improve: ·          Remember to "Reply" to the key discussion thread rather than initiating a new thread for our postings/responses. ·        ...

READ: IMPORTANT: ETC645 A1 Common Feedback

(Same message posted to course twitter announcement & BBLearn) Below are the common feedbacks for Assignment 1 to help us to learn more about managing PLE to support our online learning.  I hope you find them useful.  Feel free to contact me if you need any support for your assignment. What can we improve the assignment? When we provide our arguments/opinions, be sure to justify your arguments, perhaps provide relevant literature to support your arguments. The Justifications could made from instructional designers, different stakeholders or other perspectives etc. It is more than just personal opinions.  Remember ETC600 level courses are to train us as leaders.  We should have knowledge and skills to design and to teach other educational professionals. Our analyses should be based on our own experiences and grounded in our professional knowledge.  Just discuss our own experiences is not comprehensive enough.  This is a 600-level c...

Remind: COE scholarships!

Hello COE,   This is a friendly reminder to let your students know that the COE scholarships application for the 2019-2020 academic year is open and accepting submissions. I put up posters and send out emails, but your personal connections are critical for our application's success.   Information and the link to the application can be found at https://nau.edu/coe/scholarships   Some fun facts that many students don't realize: All students in a College of Education program of study in 2019-2020 are eligible for consideration regardless of campus, location, graduate/undergraduate status, part time/full time, etc. Financial need is not a requirement for scholarship consideration. Awards are given based on the strength of the application per the blind faculty review process. In other words, a student who has a lot of financial need and scores well won't be "bumped" if a student with no need also scores well. We find money for everyone who...
