Great PD Opportunity: What iPad Can Do for You and Your Students

We have a great PD event, What iPad Can Do for You and Your Students , on the horizon. I could use your help in spreading the word as we very much want to sell it out. We held this workshop in Tucson about a month ago. One participant said she learned more in one day with Tony than an entire year working on her iPad by herself.    What iPad Can Do for You and Your Students  will be held on Saturday, November 2nd in Flagstaff, AZ at the High Country Conference Center from 9:00PM to 3:30PM. Tony Vincent and his iPad will be sharing some of the latest and greatest in apps. Participants will have hands-on and minds-on time with some of the hottest apps for teachers and students. Summary reflection for Lesson 7 Discussions

Thanks for your participation in Lesson 7 discussion and shared your learning experiences, thoughts, and reflections on distributed learning.  Your thoughts and reflections are very valuable. Online discussions are important learning experiences in ETC645 because we value interactive and collaborative learning is distributed learning system.  The purposes of online discussions are (just name a few): Enhance three types of interaction: learner-learner; learner-instructor; & leaner-content. Engage learners in critical thinking Respond to open ended discussion question requires higher order thinking because we need to justify our arguments. Moderating discussions require higher and better understanding in content. Increase online social presence. Enhance building of online learning community.
