Dear Chih-Hsiung,

Have you made a significant technology investment in your district? Do your teachers need additional professional development on its use and effectiveness?   Consider providing them the opportunity to attend the AZTEA 2016 Spring Conference, June 3 and 4th.

You may have federal funds that need to be spent before the end of the fiscal year.  This conference is a great opportunity for your teachers to obtain high quality professional development.

Our keynote presenter is Richard Byrne. He is a well-known blogger of Free Technology For TeachersThere are also 3 pre-conference workshops to provide deeper learning on Friday, June 3rd from 1 pm - 4 pm.

The 26 presentations and poster sessions fall into the following categories:

  • Coding & Maker Movement
  • Instructional Practices with Technology
  • Creation with Apps

  • If you send a group of 10 or more teachers, AZTEA will provide a $5 discount per teacher.  Send an email to aztea@aztea.org to  obtain the discount code to use.

Here are two downloadable flyers to provide more details:  Pre-Conference, June 3rd and Conference, June 4th.
