The Graduate College has two scholarship opportunities available to NAU Graduate Students. Please forward this to any and all students you believe would be interested in applying and help us spread the word about these funding opportunities. Thank you!

 

 

 

NAU Graduate College and Graduate Student Government Scholarship

The Graduate College and Graduate Student Government offer scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 for the 2017-18 academic year. Generally, the scholarship will be disbursed evenly between the fall and spring semesters. 

 

Applicants must:

·         Be fully admitted to a graduate program

·         Be enrolled full-time during the academic year for a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester

·         Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a four-point scale

 

Application deadline: March 1, 2017 at 11:59pm

 

Submit all application materials (including completed application and 1-2 page personal statement) to GradAwards@nau.edu.

 

 

Louis H. and Betty J. Quayle Scholarship

The Louis H. and Betty J. Quayle Scholarship provides up to $15,000 for the 2017-18 academic year to graduate students who are members of a federally recognized Native American tribe or nation.

 

Applicants must:

·         Be fully admitted to a graduate program

·         Enrolled during the 2017-18 academic year for a minimum of 6 credits

·         Be a member of a federally recognized Native American nation or tribe

·         Demonstrate academic excellence

·         Demonstrate potential to make valuable contributions to your community and/or discipline with your graduate degree

 

Application deadline: March 1, 2017 at 11:59pm

 

Submit all application materials (including completed application, 1-2 page personal statement, and a copy of your tribal enrollment document such as a Certificate of Indian Blood or enrollment card), to GradAwards@nau.edu.
