If you have any queries regarding your grade, please do not hesitate to contact me by Wednesday, March 15th, 2023. Please note that in the absence of any communication from you, I will assume that you accept your grade. I would strongly advise that you maintain a copy of your grade book, syllabus, and other relevant course materials for future reference. Going forward, kindly direct any correspondence to my NAU email address, Chih.Tu@Nau.Edu . If you participated in any Web 2.0 groups during the semester, such as the ETC645 Twitter or ETC645 Facebook Page, please feel free to exit them. ETC645: Lesson 6 Instructor's Notes #1

Dear ETC645 Students, I wish to draw your attention to a recent challenge I encountered while accessing BBLearn and other NAU systems, not my email. Unfortunately, due to a conflict between NAU's DUO two-factor verification and my ISP, Cox Internet, I faced difficulties accessing these systems. However, I was able to resolve this issue after seeking assistance from NAU's ITS staff for half a day, and I am determined to complete all late work. It has come to my attention that this is a known issue that affects certain NAU systems when accessed through Cox Internet. If you are also experiencing difficulties accessing NAU systems and you have Cox Internet, I would urge you to seek assistance from NAU's ITS support by dialing 928-523-3335. I found their support to be very helpful. Fortunately, there is a solution available, and that is to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access NAU systems. This is a reliable and secure method that will enable you to a...

ETC645: Lesson 3 Instructor's Notes: Common Feedback for Lesson 2 Discussion

Dear ETC645 students, You should receive your Lesson 2 discussion grade and feedback in your NAU Email.  I hope you find them beneficial.  Here are more of my reflections to advance your learning experiences. This is a longer common feedback for the lesson discussion because this is the first time we participated in the graded lesson discussions. I want to ensure that you have a full understanding of the expectations of the class discussions. Why do we have two posting-periods? The purposes are to engage you in a network or community learning which emphasizes a cycle of inquiry. In the first-posting period, through the readings and responding to the key questions, you focus on a problem of practices that, if improved upon, significantly and positively impacts yourselves. You learn or unlearn in order to discover your best options. In the second-posting period, you refine and reflect your learning by interconnecting with our classmates and me. You should take time...

ETC645: READ: Lesson discussion update

Dear ETC645 students,   To consider the workload, you can select one from two or three of key discussion questions for each lesson to respond initially. The total six postings would remain the same. The other five postings can reply to any key questions. I hope you will do your best to join us for all topics since they are all equally important to study.     Here is the summary for the discussion postings: Monday-Thursday:  Select one or more key questions to respond.  Be thorough and comprehensive to your initial response(s). Friday-Sunday:   Conduct at least five or more postings by responding to others.  Moderators, classmates, and I often reply to your postings. As a common courtesy, you should reply to them. The average posting for each lesson from the previous class was: 11.44   Let me know if you have any questions.   Best Regards, Chih
