> The Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the internationally recognized Department of Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences (ITLS). Successful candidates will, by the time of appointment, have (1) a doctorate in Learning Sciences, Instructional Technology, or a related field and (2) have demonstrated excellence or the potential for future excellence in research and teaching. Areas of interest for both research and teaching are open.

> The successful candidate is expected to develop a cutting-edge research program, supervise graduate students, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses delivered in face-to-face, distance, and blended formats. Candidates will have expertise in theories, technologies, or methods associated with either Instructional Technology or Learning Sciences. Successful candidates will also have appreciation of intellectual contributions from both fields and be receptive to opportunities for collaboration. Candidates at the Associate level will have an established record of productivity that merits tenure at Utah State University, a Carnegie Research University with high research activity.

> The ITLS faculty have received several national awards for research, teaching, and service, and serve in a variety of leadership positions in both Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences. Our faculty have a strong track record for procuring research funding from the Department of Education, the National Science Foundation and other funding organizations.
> Utah State University (USU) is a land grant institution based out of Logan, Utah with nearly 20,000 undergraduates and over 3,000 graduate students. U.S. News and World Report ranked the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at USU as 24th among 1,200 colleges of education, which is the highest rank in the Mountain West region of the United States. USU is an hour and half north of Salt Lake City and 3 hours from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Logan borders a National Forest and is close to National Parks and scenic in its own right. The immediate region offers a variety of cultural experiences and outdoor activities, including access to world class skiing, fishing, mountain biking, and hiking trails.
