Fulbright International Scholarship: NAU deadline to apply coming soon

Seniors, Alumni, and Graduate Students:


If you plan to apply this fall for a Fulbright scholarship to be abroad for 2015-16, then you should
contact the NAU Fulbright Representative ASAP! The NAU internal deadline to apply is coming up fast.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research/arts projects or for English Teaching Assistantships in one of 150+ countries worldwide. During their grants, Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences and serving as a citizen ambassador for the United States. The grant is for the full academic year 2015-16, and you start the application process this summer.

Eligibility:  Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application: permanent residents and international students are not eligible.  Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree by Fall 2015.There is no age limit. You should be an excellent student who meets language requirements for your country of interest.

Award Benefits:  Round-trip transportation to the host country; funding to cover room, board, and incidental costs; and health benefits. There are additional benefits, including dependent funding, in some countries.
