Overview:  The Instructional Specialist for the First Year Seminar Action Learning Teams Program supports the curricular and coordinative needs of 14 graduate students, 31 peer teaching assistants, and 30 faculty members who work in teaching teams.  The instructional specialist assists the Program Coordinator, Sr. in organizing leadership development meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities for all participants in the program. Foundational to the program are Engaged Learning Models; it is preferred that the person in this position have strong interpersonal skills, a background in civic engagement, event planning, youth empowerment, and faculty development.  This position will also involve marketing and outreach; an interest and background in graphic design is preferred.
