Lesson 2 Learning Notes

(Same message posted to course Twitter & BBLearn Discussion Board area)

It’s great to see we have active and interactive learning in Lesson 1 last week.  Here are some learning notes for us to enhance our learning.  After the Group 1 and I finalize our Lesson 1 discussion grade and feedback, I will share more discussion notes based on our Lesson 1 discussion performances.

Lesson 1 Discussion

·      What we did well?

o   Responding to the key questions relevantly with the references in the first posting period.

o   Interactive and active learner-learner interaction in the 2nd posting period.

·      What we can improve?

o   Finish the lesson reading early so you can fully focus on the discussion. If necessary, you may need to read more to enhance your learning.

o   Don’t wait for the last day of the posting periods. Share your postings early so your good ideas won’t be taken.

o   Be sure to address any question raised on your postings.

Assignment 2: Online Learning Tool Evaluations

·      Prepare it early.  It is not a last-minute type of assignment.  It can be very challenging and it may require you to conduct more research.

·      Be thorough.  It is more than just filling in the blank.  We need to research, examine, analyze, and reflect thoroughly for each area.

·      It is highly encouraged that each group should start communicating on their final unit.

·      For Assignment 2, each individual can evaluate different online learning tools and share the evaluations with the group.  It would give your group to make a better decision which online learning tool/platform your group may use to deliver the group final unit.

·      It is an individual assignment.  If we plan it, it can support your group final unit.

·      Submission method: Share it on Google Docs & submit it to BBLearn Assignment submission (SUBMIT ASSG) since this is a signature assignment.
