Dear Friends,

We have a great professional learning opportunity that I am hoping you will help us get the word out and then share with others.

Doug Fisher will be back and facilitating Literacy and the Common Core on December 10th in Phoenix at the Desert Willow Conference Center. Doug will be detailing how to implement the CCSS within a powerful collaborative model: Professional Learning Communities at Work (PLCs). Participants will learn comprehensive and research-affirmed analysis tools and strategies to help collaborative teams develop and assess student understanding. They will walk away with grade-specific examples and scenarios to learn the what and how. Each participant will receive a copy of Doug's book, Common Core English Language Arts in a PLC at Work™, Grades K–2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

This is an amazing opportunity. When we last had Doug here, he was a sell-out. We moved it to the larger venue to accommodate more people. Please help us share the word. Click here for a flyer about the event. Registration ends soon. For more information and to register, click here:  http://www.azk12.org/event/27680/details

Please consider attending and/or sharing this with your colleagues.

Thank you!

Kathy
